Family Reunion

We had a Miller family reunion at Aspen Grove this last week. It was so fun!!! It was a full six days of no cooking, no cleaning and hanging out with the family. Also with Josh being the ONLY grandchild in a family of ten children he got lots and lots of attention and I got a ton of free time:) It was so great!!!

At Aspen Grove was a ropes course...

This is the part where I thought I was going to die

And this part...

I did this same course 5 years ago.  It was much scarier this time.  Who would think having a baby would make you a wimp?

Surprisingly the least scary part

Throwing axes.  Actually really fun

Josh and Jack with their Great Grandma and Grandpa

My mom and her parents and siblings
My Grandparents Josh and I

So we've been putting off getting a highchair for the last few months... Then Wyatt was talking to a coworker who happened to be getting rid of theirs!!! Score!  A nice, wooden, sturdy,  Eddie Bauer highchair for free.  I am so so so excited!!! We're just waiting for the tray.  I can't believe our luck:)

Josh also learned how to do all kinds of things while at Aspen Grove. Encouragement of cousins just a few months older than him.  He would watch them do it and then try.lol.  He learned how to sit up for short spirts and get up on all fours.  Pretty good for a week:)

The Jumper

Grandma Curran sent a Jumper to Josh and he LOVES it!!!  It's the first toy to entertain him for more than a minute or two.  He still prefers that I watch him jump - though it is much more entertaining than anything else he's ever had and can keep him busy for 15 min or so.  He thinks he's so cool- standing up like a big boy!!!  He's so proud- as you can tell though, he gets a little distracted with the camera.

4th of July!!!

The fourth of July was a little smaller than usual this year, but still fun.  We ate BBQ Ck, potato salad, corn etc.  Of course we made homemade ice cream!!!  It turned out really good!  It was mixed berry and perfect for the 4th.  We bought a few sparklers and found out that Josh LOVES fireworks:)

Granndma's, Grandpa,Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and the Wedding...

We have had so much fun the last two weeks!!!  My mom came into town and played and helped my sister and I decorate our Apartments.  So great!!!  My mom is so talented at making things beautiful!  Wyatt's entire family was in town(except Mason and Alyssa who should be having their new little girl at any time).  It was so much fun!!!  We went to 7 peaks, Grants baseball game, Riley and Talia's sealing and a million other things.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE having family in town.  I wish it was always like this!!!

We waited up for Grandma Heathcote and Josh was a little tired by the time she got here.  He was laughing and laughing and laughing.  He was very happy to see his grandma.

The Struggle

Josh has now decided for good that he wants to sleep on his tummy...  Even though it's a battle almost every time.  I lay him down and it takes him about 15 or so minutes to get comfortable.  He cries and cries because he just can't get comfortable...Then he's out...

He's also decided he wants to learn to crawl...  Until the camera hits.lol.
