Happy Halloween!!! Josh is 9 months:)

We've had such a good Halloween!!!  We've done so many fun things and unfortunately not recorded a lot of it.  We painted a pumpkin, went to a party in Ogden with friends where we went on a hayride, had a chili cook off, picked a pumpkin out of a pumpkin patch, carved pumpkins and bobbed for apples, took Halloween pictures with friends and last but not least went to the ward Trunk or Treat.  It has all been so much fun!!!  Josh loved picking out his own candy and putting it into his bucket at our trunk or treat.  He was SO CUTE in his little lion costume!!!  It was so much fun to see all the ward members dress up.  There are so many creative costumes out there.  I think Adults dressing up for Halloween is more common in Utah than in California.  Either that- or I never knew many adults that dressed up.  It's so fun to see people really get into it!!!  It's so fun to have our little Josh to share all these holidays with even though he doesn't quite get it yet.  I love our little family!!!

I have a very similar picture from when I was a little girl dressed as a tiger.

Josh's friend Lucy.  Isn't she cute?  Josh has so much fun with her!!!  She loves babies and takes such great care of them.  She's so so so sweet!!!  Just like her mom:)

Zoee's visit, The Cold and the Park

Josh is the nicest little boy in the whole world.  He has been so good !!!  He's happy and pleasant to be around and no longer cries when he wakes up!!!  He just babbles to himself in his crib. Yipee!!!   He for the last few months has gotten easier and easier with a few setbacks- teething- he has 6 teeth now.  Yikes!  But overall is the perfect little boy- even more perfect the last few days- as mommy, daddy and little Josh have been sick.  I think he knows it and has been on his best behavior.  Being sick is no fun but seems to come with the change of the seasons.  Loading up on the vitamins seems to have helped.  Fall That we- Josh and I -not wyatt -love so much.  The beautiful leaves, the cute clothes.  Cute decorations, fun holidays, fun food.  Oh I love fall!!!
As a side note-  I may be wrong, but as the family tradition continues it looks like I will be having 2 girls next.  Poor Josh- no I'm not pregnant with twin girls- however- Miranda my sister in law just found out she is having a girl- so now it goes
Sibling#1 Boy, girl, girl
Sibling#2 Girl, boy, boy
Sibling #3 Boy, girl, girl
Sibling#4  Girl, boy,
Us      #5  Boy,

Tell me that is not the weirdest thing you've ever heard/seen.lol.  I can't wait to see if it continues :)  It would be quite comical- although I am secretly hoping for another little boy someday- I think a little girl will eventually be heading our way next.

Our friends Zoee and Mindee came to visit us last week:)  It was so much fun!!!

Look how beautiful she is!!!

Josh likes to go to the park- this is his tired, sick, happy face

this is his poor sick face...

Swinging at the park made him feel so much better!!!  We love the park!!!

Painting the Pumpkin

For our activity at Family Home Evening tonight, Josh painted a pumpkin.  He was a little tired, but seemed to enjoy it once he could get his hands in all the paint:)  It was quite comical.

Videos of Josh

Untitled from Jennifer Curran on Vimeo.

Josh was very intrigued with the Monkeys at the zoo.

Josh never liked his swing as a baby and is too big for it now, but I was at my wits end the other day and decided to try it. He loved it. At least for that day.lol.

Josh is moving all over the place now. He pulls himself up on everything and walks around it. He thinks he's so big. It makes Wyatt very nervous. We can never get it on video though because he tries to grab the camera. This is the best one we've gotten.

Washington D.C. Trip

We had so much fun on our trip to visit Rich and Eileen's family in D.C. It was one of the best trips- if not the best- We've ever had!!!  We got to meet baby Lucas:)  Josh's closest boy cousin.   We got to see so many cool things and spend a lot of time with our family.  Rich and Eileen were so good to us.  They let us use their car every day and fed us and took such good care of us!!! We had such a hard time coming home!!!

This was the first Memorial we went to and probably my favorite

Abraham Lincoln Memorial

So we took this picture of Josh and Abraham Lincoln- cute right!!!

So... A group of Koreans thought so too.  They started taking pictures with Josh and calling him a superstar.  This went on for a good 5 min or so.  Doesn't sound too long, but it is.  It was funny but quite embarrassing.  All the Americans were confused I'm sure.

Where Martin Luther King gave his I HAVE A DREAM speech- on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial

Washington Memorial- see the changes in color of the stone?  Apparently they stopped building it during the Civil War and started up again several years later.

FDR Memorial- Josh's favorite.  There are several waterfalls- Josh loved them

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Josh and Lucas:)  Josh loved Lucas and was always trying to get him.  Poor kid.lol.  He'll be more fun in a few months.

Jefferson Memorial

The Zoo- it's free!!!  Josh LOVED the monkeys

Can you tell by his face? haha.  It doesn't look like it, but he was amazed by the monkeys

Mount Vernon.  Beautiful!!!  I wish I could live there.  The one thing we paid to go into.  It was well worth it.

Farmyard animals

Josh was very sad

Josh took his naps all kinds of funny places.  Such a wonderful little guy!!!

Rich and Livvy

Washington Memorial and the White House.  We toured the White House, but Weren't able to bring cameras, strollers, bags, really anything there, so this is all we have.

Jefferson Memorial

The White House

The box President Lincoln was sitting in.  It was decorated this way when he was shot.  Picture of George Washington hanging.

The Washington D.C. Temple!!!  Such a beautiful Temple!!!  Josh's first time to the temple:)
