Washington D.C. Trip

We had so much fun on our trip to visit Rich and Eileen's family in D.C. It was one of the best trips- if not the best- We've ever had!!!  We got to meet baby Lucas:)  Josh's closest boy cousin.   We got to see so many cool things and spend a lot of time with our family.  Rich and Eileen were so good to us.  They let us use their car every day and fed us and took such good care of us!!! We had such a hard time coming home!!!

Abraham Lincoln Memorial

So we took this picture of Josh and Abraham Lincoln- cute right!!!

So... A group of Koreans thought so too.  They started taking pictures with Josh and calling him a superstar.  This went on for a good 5 min or so.  Doesn't sound too long, but it is.  It was funny but quite embarrassing.  All the Americans were confused I'm sure.

Washington Memorial- see the changes in color of the stone?  Apparently they stopped building it during the Civil War and started up again several years later.

Mount Vernon.  Beautiful!!!  I wish I could live there.  The one thing we paid to go into.  It was well worth it.

Real Salt Lake Game

Wed. night we went to a Real Salt Lake Game.  It was a sad night.  Kyle Beckerman got a red card like 11 min into the game.  It was all South from there.  The final score was 3-0.  I'm sure you can guess who was on the zero end.  Thankfully for us we got free tickets and free parking and wonderful family time.

Wyatt got a free AFLAC duck from a work conference this last week.  Josh loves it!!!  If you push it, it says aflac, aflac, aflac.  He thinks the duck is talking to him.

I love my little boy!!!  Who could ask for more than that?

Our LIfe

Our life has been so busy and fun the last couple of weeks. The most important things are:
Josh now has 4 teeth
Emma our neighbor came to visit
We finally made it down to Ogden to play with Renee and her cute kids and Christin and her cute kids:)
Josh for the last week or two has been pulling himself up on EVERYTHING. The last couple of mornings I have woken up to him crying- holding onto the rails of the bed.lol.
It's almost Conference!!!!
We leave for Washington D.C. on Saturday:)

Family Pictures

A really cute friend of mine offered to take our family pictures earlier this week. You can't turn an offer like that down!!! Unfortunately we miss timed the sunset, but she still got some great shots despite the lack of sunlight. She was so much fun to work with and does such a great job! Shelley thank you!!! thank you!!!
P.S. I'm pretty sure that my son is the cutest little boy in the whole world!!! He gets it from his daddy:)

Two Teeth, Boise

Wyatt and I had a great Labor Day weekend in Boise with my brother in law's family.  Despite all the fun things we did, this is the only picture we got...Lame I know.  The boys went Hunting, race car driving, Golfing; the girls went shopping and we all watched a lot of football, played some frisbee golf and my favorite 4 wheeling.  Josh loved it!!!

So Josh has officially had two teeth for about 2 weeks now.  No official pictures yet.  The last two days he has decided that he wants to eat the same food as us.  He's officially growing out of baby food.lol.  He's so cute.  He even ate a bunch of refried beans yesterday to prove it.haha.  They grow up so fast!!!

Josh and I have so much fun at home every day.  We go for a walk to this beautiful park near our house every morning and swing on the swing, and play all day.  I was sitting on the couch yesterday watching him from behind as he played with his little toys.  I'm not ready for him to grow up!!!  I just want him to stay little forever.  My little buddy.  I love him SO MUCH!!!
